Chongqing Machinery & Electronics Holding(Group) Co., Ltd(CME) is a state-owned holding group corporation organized by Chongqing Municipal Government, which is the largest equipment manufacturer in Western China. The Group was found in 2000 by merging the previous Mechanical Industry Management Bureau, the Electronics Industry Management Bureau and the Metallurgical Industry Management Bureau. After two decades of development, CME has been ranked among the Top 500 Chinese Enterprises and Top 500 Chinese Manufacturing Enterprises for the last 17 years, and has been awarded prizes like Outstanding Enterprise of Integrity in China; and Honored Equipment Enterprise in China, Chongqing's most influential well-known brand enterprises, Best Enterprise of Integrity of Chongqing City etc.
CME has optimized capital distribution and industrial structure and formed “4+1” industrial distribution, which covers five sectors: high-end equipment manufacturing, electronic information equipment, transportation equipment, Spare parts manufacturing, Industrial finance and service.
